Founder Roos Schreuders - van Dorsten has been a fan of shoulder pads for years. She hardly leaves the house without them. Whether it’s a blouse, sweater or dress, every outfit gets an instant upgrade with a shoulder pad.

She received daily questions from her Instagram followers about where to buy them. Roos herself wore an old pair from a vintage blouse. Great volume, but impossible to find in stores.

That’s where the idea was born to design the perfect detachable shoulder pad: one that stays in place, is made from high-quality materials, can be added to any garment, and is washable and reusable.

Épaule was born.
